What kind of camera do I need for this class?
Any brand of DSLR (digital single lens reflex) or mirrorless camera will do! This is not a phone photography course but one that will teach you to use a camera.
Cameras with fixed or detachable lenses work for this course as well!
What level of experience is required?
You do not need to have any prior experience with photography or your camera. We will start from the ground up.
That said, I have had professional photographers take this course (alongside true beginners) and learn a great deal. Because I start from square one, even experienced photographers benefit greatly because any missing knowledge gets filled in.
Is this course live or online?
The Fall 2022 session will be held LIVE in Ebensburg, Pennsylvania!
This will be the first time in three years that Show Your Camera Who's Boss will be taught live.
In the 2019, the course was introduced as an online photography course after being taught live for almost 15 years. Despite the success of the course online, Tera is looking forward to teaching a special IN PERSON session starting October 20, 2022.

What happens if I can't attend all four classes?
If you miss the first or fourth class, you will be fine. The bulk of the material is covered in the second and third weeks.
There is a break between weeks three and four to provide you with extra time shoot and work on your portfolio, as Week Four is a recap and presentation of participant's work.
